Speaking as a panellist in the “Diversify” session – dedicated to looking at innovations in destination services and talking to the people who have pioneered them – Isabel Cudell from Moving-ON (2nd from right) focused on innovating with online services.
According to Eurostat, the official statistics board of the European Union, nearly 60% of EU internet users shop online. In 2012, 75% of the respondents between 16 and 74 in the EU28 stated that they had used internet in the past 12 months, of which 60% indicated that they had shopped online in the same period.
